The Roundup is powered by volunteers. Whether you want to volunteer a few hours at the Roundup, or have time to help plan and execute the event, we'd love to hear from you. Please contact us to volunteer. Planning meetings will be at the TIE Club on the last Sunday of each month.
Well it's been an exciting year so far in planning the 42nd Annual Las Vegas Roundup and we've only begun. Our theme has always been "Sober Fun in the Sun" but this year we're also putting Rule 62 into play. We're not going to take ourselves "too damn seriously."
With that in mind, we are changing the festivities a bit. We will still have the oldies but goodies such as Walk/Run and Golf. For something new, join us for about an hour of "loving evaluation" of Dick T, a local old-timer AA, as he is "roasted" in a celebrity style "roast". Our Saturday night banquet will also be a bit different. We're going to have a Luau!! Wear your aloha shirt or dress up, it's your choice, but plan on having a good time with the Polynesian menu and entertainment. Are you a bleeding deacon or an elder statesman? Not sure? Then please attend our Traditions Play.
When booking your room this year please be sure to tell the hotel you're coming to the Roundup. This will entitle you to a special room rate and enter you in our drawing. The grand prize will be a free Roundup including room paid for 3 nights, 2 registrations to the Roundup, 2 Banquet tickets, and 2 Sunday breakfast tickets.
